About FATC:
The Fort Augustus Tech Center is a Non-profit organization. It was
initiated in the spring of 1998. The Tech Center is a division of the Community Access Project (CAP). CAP is a Government project whose goal is to have every community in the country accessible to computers and the internet.
Between Generations is a provincial government initiative aimed at
closing the gap between generations. Under this program groups of students from Fort Augustus School interviewed seniors in the community who had attended these schools. The result is a compilation of the history of one-room schooling in the Fort Augustus Area. Click here to check it out. FATC Plans: The Fort Augustus Tech Center has plans of implementing programs that will take place during normal tech centre hours for adults as well as camps for students from grades 2 to 9. We currently have 25 computers that the public can use for free. Hours: Throughout the school year the CAP site will be open from 7-9 p.m.
on Tuesday night. If you would like to volunteer to keep the site open for a longer time during the winter months, contact Kerry Quinn The Tech Centre | ||
