The Island Narratives Program is going live!

As of October 14, 2011, the community histories collected by the Island Narratives Program will be available online at islandnarrativesprogram.com.

The Island Narratives Program is an initiative of Prince Edward Island's Community Access Program (CAP). Over the past eleven months, youth researchers have worked to collect and digitize the history of thirteen Island communities. This program has been a great success, training youth in information technology and project management, and also yielding research results that each community can be proud of. With the help of UPEI’s Robertson Library, the Island Narratives collection will be preserved and will remain available to the public so future generations will have access to this valuable source of community heritage. We invite you to come celebrate the history of each community and its people.
